Medical Equipment Technician II - COE (MedTech)

Location: Fullerton District/COE, California; onsite at the Anaheim district site. The role requires periodic travel to support Field Biomedical accounts and flexible availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency off-hours within a 24/7 schedule.

Salary: $26.15–$40.75 per hour

What you will do

• Inspect, maintain, calibrate, and repair movable medical equipment and patient handling equipment.
• Service medical beds, infusion pumps, patient monitoring equipment, and other medical devices.
• Perform operational verification, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
• Complete documentation and computer data entry accurately for billing and regulatory compliance.
• Communicate with clinical staff about equipment features and functionality.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with movable medical equipment and patient handling equipment, or expanded specialty equipment knowledge.
• Understanding of medical device servicing requirements.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of computer networks and equipment interaction.
• Current, valid, unrestricted driver’s license and a safe driving record required.
• Credentialing and vaccinations may be required for work at customer locations. Ability to lift or push up to 75 pounds and perform extended periods of standing, walking, bending, climbing, kneeling, and related physical activities.
