Maintenance & Automation Technician

Location: On-site at the Cadorago Distribution Center, Via Alessandro Volta, 39, Cadorago, Italy

Salary: €33,000–€49,280 per year

What you will do

• Provide advanced technical support for slitting lines and automated packaging systems.
• Diagnose complex technical issues and execute corrective and preventive actions.
• Optimize automation and modify control systems across manufacturing equipment and infrastructure.
• Define and improve preventive and corrective maintenance programs to support business continuity.
• Manage business-critical suppliers, subcontractors, and maintenance-related budget input.
• Collaborate with internal technical experts to share maintenance best practices.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in paper, slitter/rewinder, or adhesive tape industries.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot and repair complex electromechanical systems on highly automated machinery.
• Solid understanding of electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical schematics.
• Practical experience with automation networks, including hardware and software.
• Ability to analyze technical schemes and PLC software for troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Fluent written and spoken Italian required. English is a strong plus.

Nice to have

• Deep knowledge of Rockwell and Siemens technology.
• Experience in paper, slitter/rewinder, or adhesive tape industries.
• English-language communication skills.
