What you will do

• Lead audit engagements and coordinate client service delivery, including financial statements, disclosures, and other deliverables.
• Manage multiple complex audit and assurance engagements, milestones, resources, billing, collections, profitability, and engagement economics.
• Identify technical accounting and auditing matters, assess risk, design audit procedures, and coordinate with firm specialists.
• Review work products, communicate status and issues to clients, and maintain year-round strategic client relationships.
• Develop external relationships and business opportunities while providing trusted business advice to clients and stakeholders.
• Coach engagement leaders and audit teams, support talent development, and maintain quality, independence, and professional standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• Active CPA or equivalent professional credential.
• 13+ years of progressive public accounting, external audit, or assurance experience, including leadership of increasingly complex engagements.
• Substantial experience building and maintaining a client portfolio, winning new business, retaining clients, and managing engagement growth and profitability.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, US GAAS, risk-based audit methodology, internal controls, complex financial reporting, and high-risk or multi-entity audits.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, ethical judgment, independence, and willingness to travel and manage demanding workloads.

• Experience leading complex, multi-entity, industry-specialized, or higher-risk assurance engagements.
• Experience with digital audit tools, data-enabled audit approaches, or global delivery resources.
• Established external networks, client relationships, and centers of influence supporting sustainable growth.
• Experience mentoring engagement leaders and developing technical expertise across audit teams.
