Transportation Planner (Logistics)

Location: Scottsdale, Arizona, USA; ability to work in the Phoenix, AZ Metro Area. Full-time, Monday–Friday with various shifts between 06:00 and 19:00.

What you will do

• Support daily line-haul network operations, administration, and branch coordination.
• Track routes and in-transit trucks, confirm departures and arrivals, and maintain accurate ETAs.
• Manage exceptions including delays, cancellations, loading and unloading issues, and excessive detention.
• Coordinate with branches, regional hubs, inland offices, carriers, and service providers to communicate issues and arrange contingencies.
• Monitor lane volumes, recommend route and schedule changes, and identify capacity requirements.
• Procure additional truck capacity, support carrier relationships, and analyze utilization, procurement costs, and shipment-level on-time performance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Ability to work in the Phoenix, AZ Metro Area.
• Fluency in written and spoken English required.
• Basic Microsoft Office knowledge and advanced/intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or two years of logistics experience.
• Customer service or sales experience; procurement experience is beneficial for the role.
