Sr Packaging Engineer (Games)

Location: El Segundo, California, United States; full-time onsite position.

Salary: USD 100,000–125,000 per year.

What you will do

• Design and develop innovative structural packaging for the Games portfolio and worldwide product launches.
• Create 3D packaging structures that complement and protect complex products.
• Develop package concepts, cost estimates, alternative packaging solutions, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Produce standard engineering drawings and packaging specifications using paper, plastic, and pulp materials.
• Manage multiple projects against packaging and business schedules, including toy fair requirements.
• Collaborate with Packaging Design, Marketing, Product Design, Project Management, senior leadership, and the China team.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of Packaging or Industrial Design experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in Artios CAD and 3D modeling, such as SolidWorks.
• Knowledge of package manufacturing processes and experience generating detailed packaging specifications.
• Ability to develop innovative packaging solutions, communicate ideas clearly, and present solutions to management and peers.
• Strong organizational skills, initiative, collaboration skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines on multiple projects.
