Senior Electrical Project Engineer (Paper Industry)

Location: Gladstone, Virginia, at the Riverville Mill; U.S. work authorization required

Salary: $96,000–$120,000 per year

What you will do

• Provide electrical engineering support to maintenance and operations teams, resolving technical, equipment, and reliability issues.
• Develop preventive and predictive maintenance procedures to improve equipment availability and uptime.
• Prepare project scopes and cost estimates, and develop engineering, procurement, and construction strategies.
• Design and implement approved projects while controlling scope, schedule, and cost.
• Manage construction and coordinate project commissioning and start-up.
• Maintain equipment files and databases, supervise mill and contract employees, and communicate project status to operations and maintenance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 10–15 years of experience in process engineering or production in the paper industry.
• Pulp and paper industry experience.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, delegation, analytical problem-solving, and follow-up skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to contribute effectively in a team environment.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
