Senior Analyst, Software Engineering (Application Support & Development) (Java)

What you will do

• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for business-critical applications and resolve production incidents.
• Investigate application, data, and integration issues through root-cause analysis and sustainable remediation.
• Develop, test, and deploy fixes, enhancements, and minor features using Java and Spring-based technologies.
• Analyze SQL queries, stored procedures, and relational database structures to diagnose issues and improve performance.
• Participate in release validation, user acceptance testing, production deployments, and application health monitoring.
• Collaborate with business, development, and infrastructure teams, document technical procedures, and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience supporting and developing enterprise applications.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring or Spring Boot.
• Strong SQL skills and experience troubleshooting relational databases across application, database, and integration layers.
• Experience in production support, application support, or DevOps-oriented environments, with strong analytical and communication skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with Oracle databases.
• Exposure to Azure cloud technologies.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, monitoring, and observability tools.
