Prod Dev Engineer II (Product Development)

Location: Escobedo, Monterrey, Mexico; onsite, full-time

Compensation: MXN 0–MXN 0 monthly

What you will do

• Support engineering development of construction toy products from concept through production launch.
• Coordinate development activities with Product Development, Design, Quality, Packaging, Manufacturing, suppliers, and manufacturing partners.
• Support Engineering Pilot and Final Engineering Pilot builds, identifying and resolving technical issues before production.
• Manage prototype and production sample builds while incorporating design, engineering, and quality feedback.
• Review engineering documentation, drawings, and Bills of Materials for accuracy and completeness.
• Support tooling development, mold qualification, production readiness, product approvals, production sign-off, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• At least 2 years of experience in product engineering, product development, building set development, or a related industry.
• Understanding of product development and manufacturing processes.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering drawing/CAD tools.
• Fluent English and Spanish are required.
• Ability and willingness to travel internationally, including to Asia, as required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of plastic part design, tooling, and injection molding.
