Intern Validation Engineer (Power Management IC)

Location: Catania, Italy; onsite only

Salary: EUR 1,000 gross per month

What you will do

• Design, develop, and optimize laboratory test setups for complex silicon evaluation.
• Build automated validation frameworks and measurement scripts, primarily using Python.
• Validate analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power management ICs against electrical, functional, and performance specifications.
• Perform data acquisition, statistical analysis, and result correlation.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and collaborate with Design, Applications, Firmware, Product, and Test Engineers.

Requirements

• MSc student in Electronic Engineering developing a final graduation thesis.
• Proficiency with at least one programming language.
• Basic knowledge of power management applications in consumer electronics.
• Ability to read board-level analog and digital PCB schematics.
• Excellent written and verbal English, along with strong communication skills.
• Cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity in multisite, multicultural environments.
