Test Field Technician - Power Transformers

Location: Trento, Italy; office/site only

Salary: €33,000–€45,000 gross per year

What you will do

• Set up and configure test benches and measurement equipment for routine and type tests on power transformers.
• Execute electrical, mechanical, and diagnostic tests using technical specifications, blueprints, and established procedures.
• Analyze test results in real time to identify deviations, malfunctions, and product non-conformities.
• Troubleshoot test setups and equipment to maintain measurement accuracy and resolve minor issues.
• Record test data and inspection results in compliance with company procedures and ISO 9001 standards.
• Travel when required for the role.

Requirements

• Technical diploma or vocational degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanics, or a related technical field.
• 2–5 years of experience as a test technician or quality control inspector in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with high-voltage equipment, especially power transformers, is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills, laboratory testing, calibration, and report-writing proficiency.
• Fluency in Italian and a good level of English are required.
• Commitment to safety assurance and regulatory compliance.
