Global Installation Engineer-Display-CVD/PVD (CVD/PVD)

Location: Chengdu, Guangzhou, Hefei, or Xiamen, China. Full-time onsite field service role with travel required 75% of the time. Relocation eligible.

What you will do

• Install, maintain, upgrade, and service customer equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems.
• Apply diagnostic techniques and digital analytics to troubleshoot equipment issues with support from senior engineers.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and customers to understand process flows, roadmaps, requirements, and business challenges.
• Train and mentor junior field service engineers.
• Coordinate directly with customers to support smooth equipment operation.

Requirements

• Associate degree, military technical training, field service experience, or trade certification.
• 4–7 years of experience in the semiconductor or equipment support industry.
• Advanced mechanical aptitude with pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum systems, and/or thermodynamics.
• Strong knowledge of hand tools and digital multimeters.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Valid driver’s license, ability to obtain a passport if travel is required, and ability to meet onsite safety and environmental requirements.
