Field Service Engineer 3 (Bioprocess)

Location: Shanghai, China; extensive travel throughout China, APAC, and occasionally globally is required.

hirify.global develops and supports bioprocessing systems, including ATF, TFF, chromatography, and analytical equipment.

What you will do

• Install, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot hirify.global equipment at customer sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance, SAT, IQOQ, and equipment and software training.
• Support FAT activities conducted in the USA and Europe, remotely or occasionally in person, during the relevant time zone.
• Resolve mechanical, electrical, software, operating system, and hardware issues.
• Document service activities, technical resolutions, parts requirements, and equipment changes.
• Coordinate service scheduling, support service sales, and help develop Service Level Agreements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronics, Electro-mechanics, Automation, or a related discipline.
• At least 8 years of experience repairing, maintaining, and installing scientific, laboratory, bioprocess, or biotechnology equipment.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP and GDP, plus experience with CSV, GAMP, and US FDA 21 CFR Part 11 compliance.
• Ability to understand automation architecture, IO lists, electrical schematics, and SDS, HDS, and FDS documentation.
• Familiarity with Siemens S7, Siemens WinCC, DreamReports, iFix, Allen Bradley RSLogix, Wonderware/InTouch, SQL, Historian, and Emerson DeltaV.
• Driving license, international passport, strong problem-solving skills, and willingness to work flexible hours and travel extensively.
