Business Intelligence Analyst III

Location: Remote, with the primary location listed as Bethlehem and up to 10% travel within the United States

Salary: $68,970–$113,310 per year, with potential eligibility for additional incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Lead BI workstreams from requirements gathering and scope definition through technical design, development, testing, and delivery.
• Develop visualizations, dashboards, reports, metrics, and analytical models that support operational decisions and business strategy.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries across multiple databases using database objects, functions, indexing concepts, and execution plans.
• Analyze trends, patterns, correlations, anomalies, risks, and opportunities, and communicate actionable business insights.
• Define KPIs and maintain reporting, visualization, development, and data-quality standards.
• Train end users, mentor team members, and influence business and technology stakeholders on BI practices and prioritization.

Requirements

• Experience developing, maintaining, and improving BI reports, dashboards, metrics, and analytical solutions.
• Strong SQL skills, including complex queries, joins, functions, database objects, indexing concepts, and performance considerations.
• Deep understanding of BI tools, reporting functionality, data visualization, and business consumption of analytics.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical and analytical deliverables and lead internal workstreams.
• Experience validating data, creating and executing test scenarios, auditing work, and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Strong communication, stakeholder influence, analytical thinking, and mentoring skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar BI platforms.
• Experience with Alteryx, Dataiku, Informatica, SnapLogic, or similar data blending tools.
• Experience supporting multiple business units or cross-functional reporting initiatives.
• Knowledge of data security, dashboard and database access, ticketing workflows, and advanced analytics concepts.
