PRN RN

Location: Aurora and Centennial, Colorado, United States; the role floats between both oncology clinics.

Salary: $36.00–$46.00 per hour, depending on education, experience, certification, and other factors.

What you will do

• Administer chemotherapy, hydration, and other medications under physician supervision.
• Assess patients and labs, calculate dose modifications, follow treatment protocols, and manage symptoms.
• Perform venipuncture, access implanted ports, maintain central lines, and operate ambulatory infusion pumps.
• Obtain and verify treatment authorizations, consents, medication details, and chemotherapy charge documentation.
• Document assessments, education, medication administration, and pump usage in patient charts.
• Triage patient calls, educate patients and caregivers, and communicate relevant information to physicians.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited professional nursing education program; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license and registration with the applicable State Board of Nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• At least two years of nursing experience.
• Ability to meet continuing education requirements and pass post-offer background and non-federal drug screening.
• Ability to work between the Aurora and Centennial, Colorado clinics and meet the physical demands of the role, including extensive standing and walking and occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds.

Nice to have

• Oncology experience.
• OCN certification; certified nurses are eligible for OCN incentive pay after 90 days of employment or upon obtaining certification.
