LPN - PRN Position

Location: Northbrook, Illinois, United States; onsite at the senior living community. Weekend PRN shifts are 8 hours; availability for at least one weekend day and one weekday per month is required.

Salary: USD 36–37 per hour

What you will do

• Administer medications in compliance with federal and state regulations and company guidelines.
• Complete resident admissions, assessments, discharges, care plans, service plans, and clinical documentation as needed.
• Monitor clinical issues such as wounds and infection control under the director’s guidance.
• Respond to emergencies and notify physicians and family members about changes in residents’ health.
• Provide health-related consultation and educational meetings for residents and staff.
• Maintain communication across departments, protect resident confidentiality, and support a safe care environment.

Requirements

• Training from an accredited licensed or vocational nursing program.
• At least one year of experience in senior care or a related field.
• Current Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• Must work one weekend day and one weekday per month.
