Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting

Location: Camden, New Jersey, United States; full-time onsite position

Salary: $71,500–$98,300 per year base salary

What you will do

• Prepare sections of quarterly and annual Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and other SEC filings, including iXBRL tagging and supporting documentation.
• Benchmark peer-company disclosures and propose improvements to financial reporting practices.
• Review earnings press releases, investor materials, and Audit Committee communications.
• Perform technical accounting research and provide guidance on significant, complex, or unusual transactions.
• Participate in the close process by preparing journal entries, reconciliations, rollforwards, balance sheet reviews, and management reporting.
• Support goodwill and intangible asset recoverability evaluations, benefit plan statements, audits, SOX controls, system enhancements, and process automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of finance experience, preferably in public accounting.
• Certified Public Accountant certification required.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, financial policies, and internal financial controls.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel macros, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work accurately under tight deadlines and collaborate with treasury, tax, accounting, legal, FP&A, investor relations, and auditors.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP and EPM or similar ERP and consolidation systems.
