TL;DR
Senior SEC Reporting Accountant-Hybrid (SEC Reporting/US GAAP): Managing SEC reporting processes and preparing Form 10-K, Form 10-Q, and other regulatory filings with an accent on U.S. GAAP compliance, technical accounting, and disclosure governance. Focus on coordinating auditors and cross-functional stakeholders, maintaining Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 controls, and improving external reporting processes through automation.
Location: NA-US-DE-CHESTNUT_RUN_PLAZA (EL); hybrid schedule with office attendance three days per week

What you will do
- Own SEC reporting processes and timelines, including preparation and review of Forms 10-K and 10-Q.
- Prepare financial statement footnotes, disclosures, Forms 8-K, registration statements, and proxy materials.
- Provide technical accounting guidance on SEC requirements, U.S. GAAP, acquisitions, divestitures, pension accounting, and significant transactions.
- Partner with Investor Relations, Legal, Corporate Communications, Sustainability leadership, auditors, and business teams on financial and sustainability disclosures.
- Monitor disclosure controls and maintain evidence supporting Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 compliance.
- Lead process improvement and automation initiatives to improve the efficiency and accuracy of external reporting.
Requirements
- BS degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA certification.
- Thorough understanding of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
- 4+ years of relevant experience in a top-tier public accounting firm or an SEC external reporting role.
- Experience preparing and reviewing Forms 10-K and 10-Q, working with external auditors, and collaborating across functions.
- Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and deadline-management skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with Workiva, SAP, BPC, or similar financial reporting systems.
