Investment Professional - Mezz/Equity Asset Management

Location: Columbus, Ohio, within 35 miles of One hirify.global Plaza. Hybrid schedule with four days in the office and one day remote. This role does not qualify for employer-sponsored work authorization, and hirify.global does not participate in the STEM OPT extension program.

Salary: $112,000–$186,000 annually.

What you will do

• Manage and monitor a multi-billion-dollar portfolio of commercial real estate debt and equity investments.
• Analyze borrower requests for consents, approvals, loan modifications, assumptions, and other commercial mortgage transactions.
• Interpret loan agreements and ancillary provisions for commercial mortgage loans.
• Analyze borrower financial statements, collateral property performance, and annual property inspections.
• Coordinate with loan correspondents, external customers, Real Estate Portfolio Managers, Legal, Due Diligence, and Closing teams.
• Maintain accurate loan data in the loan management system and related downstream systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, business, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of related experience.
• Commercial real estate experience, including loan document interpretation and operating statement analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, negotiation, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work four days per week in the Columbus office and reside within 35 miles of One hirify.global Plaza.
• Employer-sponsored work authorization is not available; STEM OPT extension sponsorship is not supported.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of real estate fundamentals and legal interpretation of loan documents.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
