Senior Risk Management Specialist (Digital Assets)

What you will do

• Assess risks across blockchain protocols, distributed ledger infrastructure, digital asset products, custody solutions, smart contracts, and tokenisation platforms.
• Conduct risk reviews for new digital asset products, services, partnerships, and strategic initiatives.
• Enhance the Digital Asset Risk Management Framework and integrate digital asset risks into enterprise risk processes, taxonomies, and reporting.
• Monitor regulatory developments across digital assets, DeFi, stablecoins, tokenised securities, and related innovations.
• Develop key risk indicators, management information, and reporting for senior management, risk committees, and regulatory stakeholders.
• Evaluate technology, cybersecurity, operational resilience, third-party, and digital custody controls, including cryptographic key management, node operations, and smart contract governance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Risk Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Typically 7–10+ years of experience in risk management, operational risk, technology risk, digital assets, fintech, financial services, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of blockchain technologies, distributed ledger systems, digital asset ecosystems, smart contracts, tokenisation, and custody solutions.
• Experience assessing operational, technology, cyber, third-party, and regulatory risks in complex financial services environments.
• Knowledge of global digital asset regulatory frameworks, enterprise risk management, governance, controls, and risk assessment methodologies.
• Ability to translate complex technical and digital asset risks into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders.

Nice to have

• FRM, CRISC, CISA, CBSP, or another relevant risk, technology, cybersecurity, or blockchain qualification.
