Deputy General Manager of Shenzhen Branch (Insurance)

Location: Shenzhen, China; primarily in the office

What you will do

• Develop and implement annual business strategies and operating objectives for assigned branch functions.
• Serve as the Shenzhen Branch functional lead for financial innovation and technology designated by the regulator.
• Develop local-market brokerage strategies, manage relationships with brokerage firms and domestic insurers, and deliver premium budget targets.
• Coordinate with product-line teams to develop large complex accounts and identify reinsurance and co-insurance opportunities.
• Develop cross-border business and support China-wide channel management projects and initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above; an MBA from a recognized university is preferred.
• Experience with a local property and casualty insurance company; business or insurance brokerage experience is preferred.
• Excellent presentation skills in both Chinese and English.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proactive approach and high self-motivation.
