Senior Sales Support Technician (Aerospace Communications)

What you will do

• Prepare, configure, set up, and operate aerospace communication systems for customer demonstrations, technical presentations, and field tests.
• Deploy and integrate ground station equipment, antennas, RF systems, satellite communication terminals, software tools, and network infrastructure.
• Validate system performance and troubleshoot equipment, connectivity, integration, and operational issues during testing and demonstrations.
• Maintain, inventory, package, transport, and prepare sensitive demonstration equipment and supporting tools for field deployments.
• Support Sales Consultants during customer discussions and live demonstrations by operating equipment and explaining system functionality.
• Document demonstration results and provide feedback to engineering, operations, and business development teams on performance and potential improvements.

Requirements

• Associate degree or technical certification in Electronics, Communications Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of industry experience in engineering, systems development, or program/project management within aerospace, space, or defense.
• Experience managing cross-functional engineering and operations teams in complex technical programs.
• Basic understanding of RF, satellite, or wireless communication systems, with the ability to set up and operate technical equipment.
• Strong hands-on troubleshooting, technical problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to collaborate with technical teams and customer-facing personnel in an on-site environment.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken.
• Familiarity with antennas, ground station equipment, and network connectivity systems.
• Knowledge of market analytics, technology planning, and commercialization.
• Experience in aerospace telecommunications or startups.
