Senior Satellite Systems Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Must be based in Germany (Onboarding in Braunschweig required)

What you will do

• Coordinate Product Assurance & Safety Plan (PASP) and Requirements Documents (PARD) reviews.
• Perform end-to-end mission designs and assess customer requirements to create tailored solutions.
• Review hardware designs at both system and subsystem levels.
• Support launch preparation, environmental test campaigns, and readiness reviews.
• Compute and track system budgets including power, link, and data margins.

Requirements

• M.Sc. or higher in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics.
• 5+ years of experience in satellite systems engineering across major development phases.
• 2+ years of experience with ECSS-compliant development programs and formal reviews.
• Proven experience contributing to at least one satellite mission that reached operational service.
• English proficiency C1 or better.
• Valid EU work authorization.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with ECSS product assurance practices (FMEA/FMECA, RAMS).
• Experience with Earth observation missions or synthetic aperture radar (SAR).
