Electrical Project Estimator

What you will do

• Review customer electrical specifications and determine project scope.
• Develop cost estimates and initial electrical specifications.
• Provide technical expertise to the sales department.
• Maintain the master electrical bill of materials and estimating database.
• Request vendor quotes and pricing for major equipment and electrical components.
• Brief Electrical Designers on project scope and identify additional resources or equipment needed for execution.

Requirements

• Technical or associate degree in engineering or an electrical-related field is preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in electrical build, installation, or estimating is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify alternative solutions collaboratively.
• Ability to manage personal workload and coordinate estimating project timelines.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and other technical documents.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including report writing.
