What you will do

• Prepare accurate and timely estimates for projects from pre-tender through post-tender stages.
• Complete tenders consistently in line with company procedures, standards, and processes.
• Produce tender quantity takeoffs and enter data into estimating software to establish project prime costs.
• Prepare supplier and subcontractor enquiries, assess quotations, and verify compliance with specifications.
• Consider construction, technical, and commercial risks while preparing tenders.
• Develop product substitution and value engineering options, and review completed projects against budgeted installation times.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Electrical Estimator or in preparing electrical estimates.
• Knowledge of electrical installations is advantageous but not essential.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a similar discipline.
• Understanding of health and safety requirements.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
