Senior Catastrophe Reporting Analyst

What you will do

• Review regulatory reporting and automate processes to improve speed, consistency, and reliability.
• Develop reports for underwriting teams to support aggregate management and risk appetite monitoring.
• Standardise data capture and checking processes across insurance classes and improve data quality.
• Compile data for internal and external reporting and support the timely delivery of regulatory returns.
• Provide aggregate monitoring information for reinsurance planning and collaborate with underwriting and outwards reinsurance teams.
• Support catastrophe risk modelling, Internal Model development, oversight frameworks, and procedural documentation.

Requirements

• Experience in a similar role within the insurance industry.
• Understanding of catastrophe modelling and exposure management is advantageous.
• Strong coding skills in R and/or Python.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience enhancing and automating processes.
• Strong understanding of insurance concepts.
