General Manager (Retail)

Location: McAllen, Texas, USA (La Plaza - Coach); on-site retail role with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, public holidays, and peak retail periods

Base pay: $62,000–$87,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead store strategy and execution to achieve sales, productivity, and profitability goals.
• Forecast sales, plan payroll, align hiring plans, and adjust business strategies based on market trends.
• Model and coach selling, service, floor leadership, clienteling, and fashion-advisory standards.
• Recruit, onboard, retain, mentor, and develop high-performing retail teams.
• Own daily scheduling, payroll, inventory, HR, loss prevention, store presentation, and operational compliance.
• Collaborate with store, district, regional, and corporate partners on product flow, initiatives, and business priorities.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a Store Manager; luxury retail experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with sales strategy, clienteling, team development, and performance management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and retail systems.
• Strong English language proficiency.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and maintain a flexible schedule.
• Ability to regularly lift at least 25 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs, and perform climbing, bending, kneeling, and stockroom movements.
