Project Manager (HVACR)

Location: Cudahy, WI, USA; hybrid work with at least three days per week in the office. Travel up to 15% of the time, mostly domestically. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not provided.

What you will do

• Initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and control Engineer-to-Order refrigeration and gas compression projects.
• Manage project scope, schedules, resources, costs, risks, and critical-path activities.
• Coordinate sales, engineering, planning, purchasing, production, finance, logistics, and field services.
• Build and maintain customer, vendor, and business relationships while addressing concerns and implementing corrective actions.
• Improve project, program, and portfolio management processes and tools.
• Coach, mentor, motivate, and influence project team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• 4+ years of project management experience in a manufacturing organization with significant customer interaction.
• Experience managing teams of 10 or more and complex projects involving internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience managing projects with budgets up to $500,000 and timelines of up to 12 months.
• Proficiency with project management software, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office.
• Valid passport, US driver’s license, and authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• HVAC, refrigeration, or oil and gas industry experience.
• Training and experience with Lean/Six Sigma tools and project management methodologies.
• Strong relationship management, communication, listening, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
