Finance Lead, Logistics Finance

Location: Chicago, IL — Chicago/Aon Center

New hire base salary: $141,500–$176,900 per year, plus eligibility for a performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Own the month-end close, actuals consolidation, reporting, and full Logistics P&L across transportation and warehouse operations.
• Lead monthly forecasting and annual budgeting at business-unit and operational levels.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities and integrate logistics forecasts into business review cycles.
• Translate operational and logistics performance into financial insights for business units, supply chain leaders, and senior stakeholders.
• Build financial models and tools that improve reporting efficiency and analytical depth.
• Lead and develop analysts and managers across Chicago and Mexico City while driving process standardization and automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration required; an MBA is preferred.
• 7–10 years of progressive Finance or Accounting experience, with a focus on FP&A.
• Experience owning a P&L and leading close and forecast processes.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to convert financial data into operational insights.
• Experience managing or leading direct reports across geographies.
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, reporting tools, and ERP systems, plus strong communication and influencing skills.

• Experience with automation or AI tools in a finance context.
