Sr Staff Procurement/Purchasing Specialist (Passive Components)

Location: Zhubei, Zhubei City, Hsinchu County, Taiwan. Onsite role; remote work is not available.

What you will do

• Lead commercial negotiations covering pricing, long-term agreements, capacity commitments, price adjustments, and payment terms for MLCCs, inductors, and embedded substrates.
• Own supplier strategy, selection, allocation, capacity planning, and long-term supply assurance for passive component commodities.
• Drive cost optimization through cost breakdown analysis, should-cost modeling, and localization strategies.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Product Groups, Supply Chain, and Finance across NPI, ramp-up, and lifecycle management.
• Manage supply chain risks, supplier performance reviews, KPIs, escalations, and resolution of quality, delivery, capacity, and commercial issues.
• Govern MSAs, NDAs, pricing frameworks, and other commercial agreements.

Requirements

• 10+ years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably in the semiconductor or electronics industry.
• Fluent English is required.
• Hands-on experience or strong familiarity with MLCCs, inductors, and embedded substrates.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills; proficiency in PowerPoint for executive-level presentations.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and cross-functional influencing skills.
• Experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management, or program management.
