Founding Engineer (Fullstack AI)

Location: On-site in San Francisco, California; full-time work from the San Francisco office is required. Relocation support is available.

Salary: $175,000–$200,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Own end-to-end feature development across Vue/Nuxt frontend, Node.js/TypeScript backend, and LangGraph AI agent integrations.
• Architect and maintain PostgreSQL schemas with Supabase, focusing on data integrity and performance.
• Manage deployments, background jobs, and infrastructure using Render and Inngest, including dedicated Microsoft Azure deployments.
• Apply user-centered design throughout the product lifecycle.
• Collaborate with operations and customers through Slack and Notion to align technical solutions with user needs.
• Improve internal tooling and workflows using Linear, GitHub, Slack, and Notion.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional software engineering experience delivering full-stack web applications.
• Hands-on TypeScript and Node.js backend development experience.
• Strong PostgreSQL and relational database design skills.
• Frontend experience with Vue/Nuxt or React/Next.js.
• Experience owning features from concept through deployment and maintenance.
• Willingness and ability to relocate to San Francisco and work on-site full-time. A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Render, Inngest, Microsoft Azure, serverless workflows, or event-driven architecture.
• Marketing technology or AdTech background.
• Experience integrating LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google, or building AI/ML-powered features.
