Co-Head, US Investment Operations (Asset Management)

Location: Chicago, IL, United States; full-time, onsite role. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship.

Salary: $123,400–$216,000 USD annual base pay, plus a discretionary bonus that may include equity.

What you will do

• Lead client onboarding and management, system setups, front-office support, rebalancing, model execution, and intermediary oversight across clients, accounts, and funds.
• Oversee the follow-the-sun operating model and establish consistent standards across global teams.
• Partner with Investments, Product, Marketing, Distribution, COO, Data, and Technology teams to design future-state operating models and capabilities.
• Drive a technology and AI-enabled transformation roadmap to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Develop service levels, governance, controls, and KPIs that ensure timely and accurate operational information.
• Manage relationships with brokers, prime brokers, custodians, transfer agents, fund accountants, technology platforms, and other vendors.

Requirements

• At least 20 years of experience in investment management, including leadership of operational functions at a mid-to-large investment manager.
• Detailed knowledge of investment management, multiple asset classes, investment operations, cash processes, trading practices, and financial technology systems.
• Experience managing and developing onshore and offshore teams, including recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
• Demonstrated experience leading transformation, digital initiatives, automation, governance, operational risk reduction, and process improvement.
• Strong stakeholder collaboration, executive communication, negotiation, vendor management, decision-making, and consensus-building skills.
• Must already have United States work authorization; visa sponsorship is not available. Bachelor’s degree required; MBA and/or CFA preferred.
