Trade Operations Manager

Location: Hybrid work schedule near the Phoenix, AZ or Charlotte, NC office; candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Base salary: $110,000–$130,000, plus variable incentive compensation and benefits.

What you will do

• Oversee timely, accurate, and high-quality trading of client accounts.
• Own trading processes, systems, procedures, and operational controls while reducing risk and improving cycle time.
• Manage operational performance through risk metrics, KPIs, capacity planning, and daily stand-ups.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of traders while setting expectations and reinforcing accountability.
• Drive cross-functional process improvements and write business and functional requirements for technical solutions.
• Assess test plans, results, defects, change readiness, and downstream impacts of new products and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in financial services, securities, or wealth management, including trade operations, portfolio trading, or managed account platforms.
• Experience leading, coaching, or supervising operational, trading, or analytical teams.
• Strong knowledge of trading workflows, portfolio rebalancing, and operational risk and controls.
• Experience driving cross-functional initiatives, process improvements, KPI management, and risk monitoring.
• Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar data visualization and reporting tools, along with advanced Excel proficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or equivalent relevant education and experience; US work authorization required and visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with model-based trading, UMA/SMAs, or large-scale portfolio rebalancing.
• Series 7, Series 24, Lean Six Sigma, IOC, or similar operations-focused certification.
