Investment Strategy - Associate (Fintech)

Location: New York, New York, United States; office-based Monday through Thursday with remote work available on Friday

Salary: $90,000–$130,000 base salary annually, plus equity and an annual performance bonus

What you will do

• Conduct macroeconomic, sector, thematic, and cross-asset research across public and private markets.
• Analyze alternative investments, including private equity, private credit, real estate, infrastructure, and hedge fund strategies.
• Track policy developments, capital flows, valuations, fundraising activity, and secular themes such as artificial intelligence and energy transition.
• Research and produce market commentary, quarterly outlooks, thematic reports, white papers, executive presentations, and advisor education materials.
• Build financial models, quantitative analyses, and investment dashboards using Excel, Bloomberg, Python, and other analytical tools.
• Partner with investment teams and senior leadership to deliver executive-ready insights and establish scalable research processes.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in investment banking, private markets, alternatives, asset management, investment research, or investment strategy.
• Research experience across public or private markets and a strong understanding of alternative investments and portfolio construction.
• Experience with data analytics, quantitative research, and financial modeling.
• Working knowledge of Python for financial analysis, data visualization, automation, and investment research.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and create executive-level and client-facing materials.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AI-powered research tools, machine learning concepts, or modern analytical workflows.
• Knowledge of PitchBook, Preqin, Macrobond, FactSet, Bloomberg, or similar market and alternative investment data platforms.
• Passion for global markets, private markets, innovation, and emerging technologies.
