TL;DR
Consultant – Accounting and Finance Manager (Hybrid) (Finance Transformation/ERP): Supporting finance transformation, process improvement, ERP implementation, and accounting operations initiatives for leading organizations with an accent on SAP and Oracle, financial reporting, internal controls, and operational finance. Focus on redesigning finance operating models, managing complex cross-functional projects, and developing executive-level recommendations.
Location: Atlanta Metro, Georgia, United States; onsite three days per week

What you will do
- Support finance transformation and process improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to ERP implementations, upgrades, optimizations, and integrations involving SAP or Oracle.
- Improve month-end close, accounting operations, financial reporting, and operational finance processes.
- Assess and redesign finance operating models and organizational structures.
- Partner with accounting, finance, operations, technology, and executive stakeholders on cross-functional projects.
- Prepare executive presentations, business recommendations, project deliverables, timelines, risk updates, and stakeholder communications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- 10–20 years of experience in accounting, finance, audit, advisory, or transformation roles.
- Strong experience with enterprise ERP systems, including SAP and/or Oracle.
- Expertise in financial reporting, accounting operations, audit, finance transformation, controllership, internal controls, carve-outs, divestitures, M&A integration, or shared services transformation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work onsite in Atlanta three days per week.
Nice to have
- Consulting experience with a professional services, advisory, or consulting firm.
- Big Four public accounting or advisory experience.
- CPA, CMA, or another relevant professional certification.
- Experience with carve-out, divestiture, separation, and integration activities.
- Experience supporting internal and external audits and SOX compliance remediation.
