What you will do

• Perform ordered CT procedures while maintaining a high level of technical quality.
• Advise physicians on the appropriateness of additional or modified imaging studies.
• Escort and position patients, assist with dressings, and ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Process radiologic films, log procedures, complete documentation, and coordinate the release or return of outside films.
• Conduct daily quality-control checks, report equipment malfunctions, and arrange preventive maintenance.
• Follow regulatory, radiation, patient, employee, and organizational safety and compliance standards.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited school.
• At least three years of experience as a CT Technologist for Level 1; five years for Level 2 or seven years for Senior level.
• Current registration as a radiologic technologist with ARRT.
• Current IV and CPR certifications.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push or position patients and equipment as required.
• Ability to work for extended periods while sitting or standing and to operate equipment with manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
