Experienced Catastrophe Claims Representative

Location: Broomfield, Colorado, United States; hybrid work with frequent travel to catastrophe locations, potentially out of state

Annual base pay: $50,000–$88,800

What you will do

• Investigate claims and assemble relevant facts.
• Review policies, endorsements, and forms to determine coverage.
• Evaluate losses, analyze legal liability, and pay or deny claims.
• Work toward claim resolution, including participation in arbitrations, mediations, depositions, or trials when required.
• Ensure claim payments are issued accurately and on time.
• Travel on short notice to catastrophe locations for up to 21 days at a time and meet physical requirements such as carrying equipment and climbing ladders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• At least two years of claims handling or comparable experience.
• Field experience with multiline property and casualty claims, including wind and hail.
• Proficiency with Xactimate software and the ability to resolve complex issues, organize data, and manage multiple assignments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
