Manufacturing Technician (CNC)

Location: Solon, Ohio, United States; onsite, full-time

What you will do

• Improve CNC and Caddy programming, tool life, cycle times, tooling, and machining quality.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment issues with Maintenance.
• Perform mechanical realignments, basic preventive maintenance, and equipment troubleshooting independently.
• Create manufacturing documentation and work instructions for CNC and Caddy equipment.
• Support Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering, Maintenance, Lean teams, supervisors, and vendors with process and equipment improvements.
• Assist with relocating and installing large machinery while responding to changing operational priorities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school training is preferred.
• 1–2 years of direct CNC machining setup experience.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics, maintenance work orders, and manufacturer manuals.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to use hand and power tools, machine tools, and precision measuring equipment.

Nice to have

• Technical or trade school education.
• Experience with GD&T, 3D modeling, and CAD.
