Patternmaker/Machinist Tech Center (CNC)

Location: hirify.global Technical Center, Alburtis, Pennsylvania, United States; onsite, day shift

hirify.global develops mechanical pipe joining solutions and operates manufacturing facilities and branches worldwide.

What you will do

• Build and maintain fully machined tool steel patterns for hirify.global facilities worldwide.
• Set up and operate primarily three-axis vertical mills and lathes, including manual and advanced CNC equipment.
• Write and edit G code and M code programs as required.
• Read blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements.
• Measure close-tolerance dimensions, detect malfunctions, troubleshoot processes, and make adjustments for continuous improvement.
• Operate overhead cranes and forklifts, perform preventative maintenance, and maintain a clean and safe work area.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of relevant on-the-job experience preferred.
• Two or more years of technical schooling preferred.
• Experience with manual machining, CNC milling and lathe operations, close-tolerance measurement, and trigonometric calculations for 3D shapes.
• Ability to work effectively with others and lift up to 50 pounds.
• This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with SolidWorks and Mastercam modeling and toolpath software.
• Experience in three-dimensional metal patternmaking.
