Senior Project Manager - Design Build

Salary: $160,000–$210,000 annual salary

What you will do

• Manage multiple or large, complex design-build construction projects through completion.
• Estimate and establish project budgets, contract prices, GMPs, and lump-sum agreements.
• Lead subcontract and material procurement, including bid packages, negotiations, buyout, shop drawing approval, and material delivery.
• Maintain project schedules, cost control, quality control, contract compliance, and accurate management reporting.
• Lead and supervise project teams, coordinate with owners, architects, superintendents, and subcontractors, and implement safety procedures.
• Direct preconstruction, change-order and claims management, close-out procedures, and one-year warranty walks.

Requirements

• Design-build experience is required.
• 8–10 years of field construction management experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Degree in engineering, construction management, or architecture, or equivalent experience.
• Leadership, problem-solving, organizational, communication, drafting, and computer skills.
• Working knowledge of contract law, project accounting, scheduling, cost control, procurement, estimating, and project management control systems.
