What you will do

  • Serve as the field-based medical expert for the bone health therapeutic area.
  • Communicate clinical and scientific data to bone opinion leaders, healthcare providers, payers, advocacy groups, and other healthcare decision-makers.
  • Support scientific engagement plans, local research and development tactics, opinion-leader plans, speaker training, and congress activities.
  • Provide clinical, pharmacoeconomic, reimbursement, and payer-policy support to payers, integrated delivery networks, and formulary committees.
  • Support sponsored and investigator-initiated research, including potential service as a study lead.
  • Share field insights with internal stakeholders and collaborate compliantly with cross-functional project teams.

Requirements

  • Doctorate degree, or a master's degree with 3 years of Medical Affairs experience, or a bachelor's degree with 5 years of Medical Affairs experience.
  • Experience in clinical practice, clinical research, or medical research; post-doctoral training, residencies, and fellowships may qualify.
  • Ability to communicate scientific, clinical, outcomes, and economic information to medical and payer audiences.
  • Ability to cover the Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington territory in the United States.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, professionalism, and compliance skills.

Nice to have

  • Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D., D.O., or another doctoral degree.
  • At least two years of industry experience in Scientific or Medical Affairs at a biotechnology or pharmaceutical company.
  • Managed market, payer, or integrated delivery network engagement experience.
  • Expertise in osteoporosis and bone health.
