Medical Science Liaison - Gastroenterology - West

Location: Must reside in the Northwest territory covering Northern California, Nevada, Oregon, Idaho, Washington, and Montana, or be willing to relocate there at own cost. The role is remote and non-office based, with substantial national and international travel possible.

What you will do

• Build trusted scientific relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare providers, payers, patients, and other external stakeholders.
• Conduct compliant one-on-one and group scientific exchanges on gastroenterology, immunology, clinical, epidemiological, and disease-management topics.
• Develop territory and stakeholder engagement plans aligned with Medical Affairs strategy and manage engagement tracking for approximately 50 stakeholders.
• Gather, evaluate, and communicate medical insights from stakeholder interactions, published studies, and emerging evidence.
• Support evidence-generation activities, including clinical, investigator-sponsored, surveillance, pharmacovigilance, compliance, and effectiveness studies.
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Medical Information, Commercial Operations, Business Development, Regulatory, and other internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in a technical, scientific, or medical field, such as MD, PhD, or PharmD.
• At least 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, as a Medical Science Liaison, or in relevant clinical practice; MSL experience is strongly preferred.
• Relevant immunology clinical experience in gastroenterology and/or rhinology may be considered.
• Strong understanding of medical practice, clinical decision-making, healthcare systems, research study design, and scientific data interpretation.
• Excellent communication, presentation, planning, prioritization, diplomacy, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, ability to pass a background check, and willingness to safely operate a company vehicle for daily meetings.
