Location: Los Angeles, California; West Region coverage includes California, Montana, and Arizona. Ability to travel is required.
Compensation: Minimum estimated rate of $15.00 per hour, plus eligibility for monthly commissions.

What you will do
- Procure new residential mortgage transactions and generate new loan requests.
- Assist borrowers with selecting loan programs, completing applications, and gathering supporting documentation.
- Assemble and review loan files through the application process until document requests and closing are scheduled.
- Conduct preliminary underwriting reviews and analyze credit reports and financial information.
- Serve as the primary front-line contact for borrowers throughout the application and closing process.
- Build referral relationships with realtors, builders, bankers, and other business sources.
Requirements
- At least two years of mortgage loan origination experience.
- Thorough knowledge of mortgage pricing, underwriting requirements, processing, underwriting, and closing procedures.
- Knowledge of federal real estate lending regulations, including Truth-in-Lending and RESPA.
- Ability to analyze financial information, exercise sound judgment, and communicate effectively.
- Outlook proficiency and a professional, diplomatic demeanor.
- National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 is required.
