Specimen Management Associate

Location: Lancaster, PA, USA; onsite, Tuesday–Saturday second shift from 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

What you will do

• Receive, unpack, register, and process incoming specimen shipments in accordance with corporate SOPs.
• Maintain specimen temperature, storage, chain of custody, and documented handoffs throughout processing.
• Enter and verify subject demographics and visit details in the LIMS system.
• Assess specimen quality, document deviations, and escalate unresolved issues to management.
• Prepare and complete specimen shipments, manifests, storage activities, and compliant specimen destruction.
• Create and execute work lists, investigate QS and HDL tickets, and meet planned service timelines.

Requirements

• US high school diploma or equivalent required; a professional or technical degree is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
• At least two years of production-environment experience preferred, particularly in healthcare, life sciences, or pharmaceuticals.
• At least two years of experience with enterprise-grade applications; LIMS experience is preferred.
• Basic written and spoken English, attention to detail, ability to follow SOPs, and accuracy under deadlines.
• Availability for weekend shifts every other weekend is required.
