Billing Operations & Invoicing Specialist (AR | NetSuite)

Location: Permanent work from home; Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM–9:00 PM AEST, including a one-hour unpaid break.

What you will do

• Prepare, finalize, and issue partner invoices, credit notes, and Recipient-Created Tax Invoices in NetSuite.
• Reconcile partner reports against invoices and attach supporting documentation for distribution.
• Maintain customer master data, including contacts, payment terms, and settlement types.
• Investigate, resolve, or escalate partner disputes and questions about commissions, reports, and invoice data.
• Raise database and reporting variances through Jira and maintain leadership visibility on open inquiries.
• Complete month-end close tasks and securely manage billing records through approved systems.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or general accounting.
• Strong practical NetSuite experience is strictly required.
• Professional English communication skills, written and spoken, are required.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including lookups, pivot tables, and financial reconciliations.
• Ability to manage high-volume, deadline-driven transactional work with strong attention to detail.
• Commitment to data privacy regulations and security policies for sensitive commercial data.

Nice to have

• Experience with multi-currency financial exposures.
• Bookkeeping or accounting experience in insurance, fintech, or embedded finance.
