Senior Project Manager, Rail+Transit

Location: New York, United States — 32 Old Slip; full-time onsite role

Salary: $143,900–$215,900 annually

What you will do

• Take managerial ownership of large-scale multidisciplinary rail and transit construction projects.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, delivery, and quality of deliverables.
• Act as the main point of contact for project owners on project matters.
• Coordinate owners, project management teams, contractors, and design-builders.
• Support community outreach and coordination with third-party stakeholders.
• Identify project prospects, prepare technical proposals, and participate in client interviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a closely related field.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.
• At least 15 years of project management experience.
• Extensive knowledge of rail transit systems and experience executing transit projects.
• Experience managing projects for the MTA C&D Signal Business Unit, formerly the NYCT Signal Department.
• Familiarity with Project Management Procedures and Project Management Guidelines.

Nice to have

• OSHA 30-Hour Safety Course certification, or willingness to obtain it within six months of hire.
