Senior LRT Rail Project Manager / Vice President

Location: Empire State Building, New York, New York; offices in New York, Connecticut, or New Jersey

Compensation: $233,646.46–$259,607.18 per year

What you will do

• Lead the full lifecycle delivery of light rail and rail projects from initiation through commissioning.
• Develop project management plans covering execution strategy, staffing, and delivery frameworks.
• Direct multidisciplinary teams and manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
• Manage project financials, resource utilization, forecasting, risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Build client relationships, support proposals and contract negotiations, and pursue new rail-sector opportunities.
• Represent the organization at industry events and provide expertise on rail technologies, trends, and regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, or Structural Engineering, or a related field.
• 15+ years of rail project management experience delivering complex projects and supporting business development.
• Deep technical knowledge of rail systems, engineering principles, and industry standards.
• Experience leading large multidisciplinary teams, managing concurrent projects, developing proposals, managing bids, and negotiating contracts.
• Strong communication, leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and business development skills.
• Willingness to travel for client engagements and project needs.

Nice to have

• New York PE license.
• PMP certification.
