Credit Products Specialist I - Corporate Banking

Location: New York, NY 10018; full-time, onsite role.

Salary: $83,426.25–$136,922.00 per year.

What you will do

• Support Relationship Managers with financial statement analysis, borrower creditworthiness assessments, and credit approval packages.
• Assist with loan structuring and the underwriting of commercial credit relationships.
• Monitor financial trends, covenant compliance, and borrowing bases to identify credit risks and recommend actions.
• Collaborate with sales, credit teams, credit officers, and other stakeholders to structure deals and address underwriting inquiries.
• Manage assigned portfolio decisions, resolve portfolio-related issues, and complete special projects.
• Share expertise with analysts and maintain awareness of credit policies, market trends, and risk mitigation techniques.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, or 5+ years of equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in credit underwriting, portfolio management, or a related field.
• Strong financial analysis, risk assessment, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of loan structuring and credit agreements.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and credit decision tools, with intermediate Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• Strong written and verbal communication, collaboration, relationship-building, and time-management skills.
