Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist

What you will do

• Maintain a visible presence on the manufacturing floor and reinforce safe work practices.
• Conduct safety observations, inspections, workplace assessments, job safety analyses, and risk assessments.
• Support incident, injury, and near-miss investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective action follow-up.
• Track EHS leading and lagging indicators, maintain dashboards, analyze trends, and prepare reports.
• Coordinate EHS training records, compliance documentation, audits, inspections, and employee participation tracking.
• Partner with supervisors, employees, production, maintenance, engineering, and site leadership to resolve safety concerns and improve EHS performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred; an associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience may be considered.
• 1–3 years of Environmental, Health & Safety experience in a manufacturing, industrial, logistics, maintenance, or operations environment preferred.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, industrial safety principles, hazard identification, incident reporting, and corrective action management.
• Ability to collect, analyze, and summarize EHS data, including KPI reporting and dashboard development.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reporting, recordkeeping, and data management.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Power BI, SAP, EHS management systems, or other reporting platforms.
