TL;DR
Human Resources Staffing/Recruitment Specialist (Recruiting/HRIS): Supporting staffing, onboarding, HRIS administration, employee services, and DOE reporting in a regulated nuclear cleanup environment with an accent on recruitment coordination, compliance, and confidential employee information. Focus on building HR dashboards, managing workforce documentation, and coordinating hiring and onboarding activities for Hanford Field Office operations.

Location: Predominantly onsite at the Hanford Field Office and Hanford Site in Richland, Washington, United States; some remote support may be approved by the Contracting Officer.

What you will do

  • Support recruiting, hiring processes, onboarding logistics, and employee services.
  • Manage HR documentation, HRIS activities, employee information, and related reporting.
  • Coordinate communication between supervisors and HR departments.
  • Build HR dashboards and metrics for DOE reporting.
  • Provide workforce management, training, compensation support, audit coordination, and general business support.
  • Handle sensitive personally identifiable information confidentially in a regulated nuclear cleanup environment.

Requirements

  • 4–7+ years of HR experience.
  • BA/BS degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience with recruiting, HRIS, metrics, and employee relations.
  • Strong confidentiality, organization, customer focus, communication, and business acumen.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business tools, including Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Ability to work predominantly onsite at the Hanford Field Office and Hanford Site in Richland, Washington; facility or DOE clearance may be required for classified work.

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting DOE contractors or the Environmental Management sector.
  • SHRM certification.
  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat, data analytics tools, and Visio.
