Large Format Digital Print Operator

Location: Des Moines, Iowa, United States; onsite full-time

What you will do

• Safely set up, operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain large format digital presses and finishing equipment.
• Prepare print jobs by reviewing job instructions, RIP files, and production specifications.
• Set up, program, and release jobs from the print queue.
• Adjust image positioning, folds, cutting, and other finishing parameters as needed.
• Monitor print quality and verify that output meets customer specifications.
• Maintain production logs, delivery manifests, and records of supplies and materials.

Requirements

• Experience operating, setting up, and adjusting large format digital presses for different print jobs and substrates.
• Ability to operate, set up, and adjust a flatbed digital cutter.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment, print-quality, and production issues.
• Ability to read and interpret job tickets, layouts, and production specifications.
• Ability to verify paper stocks, substrates, materials, registration, machine status, error messages, and consumable levels.
• Ability to follow safety policies, quality standards, production schedules, and operating procedures.
